Describe how new epidermal cells form, develop, and are shed from the body.

the epidermals make up the outermost layer of the skin and is constantly forming new cells through mitosis. these new cells gradualy move towards the skins outer surface , while producing and filling themselves with keratin . this causes these cells to die by the time they reach the outer surface where they are shed and replaced with new cells . it is a continuous process
