This is quite simply just rearranging for b.

[tex]y= \frac{5}{8}b+10 [/tex]

[tex]y-10= \frac{5}{8} b[/tex]

[tex]b = \frac{y-10}{\frac{5}{8}} = \frac{8(y-10)}{5} = \frac{8y-80}{5} [/tex]
