If another scientist attempts to replicate your experiment, then they will need the exact measurements in order to do so.

It’s important because if your experiment turns out to be a success and you or another must replicate it exactly, you need he right measurements to be safe. Too much of one ingredient can lead to dangers, like acid poisons or explosions.
