To solve this problem you must apply the proccedure shown  below:
 1. You have the following expression given in the problem above:
 [tex] x^{3} - 3 = -67[/tex]
 2. You must add a 3 to both sides:
 [tex]x^{3} - 3+3 = -67+3 \\ x^{3}= -64[/tex]
 3. Now, you to cube root both sides, as following:
 [tex] \sqrt[3]{ x^{3} } = \sqrt[3]{-64} \\ x=-4[/tex]
 Therefore, the answer is: [tex]x=-4[/tex]
