Volume = B x h where B is the area of the base.

Hint: Use the triangle as your base. Area of a triangle is [tex] \frac{1}{2} [/tex] (base x height) ... the base and height are the legs of the triangle, the sides touching the 90°

B = [tex] \frac{1}{2} [/tex](12)(5) = 30

h = 15

V = 30 x 15 = 450

Answer: 450 in³
