f(x)=7-3x g(x)=3x-7

First let’s solve for f(1)

f(1)= 7-3(1)

f(1)= 7-3

f(1)= 4 *we will save this for later

Let’s now solve for g(1)

g(1)= 3(1)-7
g(1)= 3-7
g(1)= -4

Now we can find f(1) + g(1)

f(1) =4 and g(1)= -4

4+(-4) = 0
