Molar mass NaCl = 58.44 g/mol

Volume = 1.0 L

Molarity = 3.5 M

Mass of solute:

mass = molarity * molar mass * volume

mass = 3.5 * 58.44 * 1.0

m = 204.54 g

hope this helps!
