After participating in several experiments and researches related to animal intelligence and cognition, pigeons were considered intelligent, smart and aware of many situations around them. For instance: pigeons are able to remember individual images for several years, they immeadiately respond to stimuli and they are also able to share attention between different dimensions of stimuli, which also happens to humans and other species of mammals.
