Robin says,"I can find 8×7 by multiplying 3×7 and doubling it". Does her statement make sense. Explain your answer.

no, because 8x7 is 56 while 2(3x7) is 42  and the equations would not equal each other, therefore robin is wrong.

No her statement does not make sense because 8X7 is 56. (3X7) x2 is 42.
