Northern Ireland isn't part of Great Britain, as it isn't on the island, but it is part of the United kingdom, on the island that is just to the left of Great Britain on a map :)

Northern Ireland is located in the north-east portion of the island of Ireland. Great Britain includes England, Scotland and Wales but not the isle of Ireland.
