Why can you use any 2 points on a line to find the slope of the line

You can't use 1 point on a line to make a full slope. To make a full slope you would need 2 points on a line. To make more than one slope you would need more than 2 points on a line.

Because if u subtract the y2 by y1 and x2 by x1 you will get the slope if u still don’t understand tell me so I can be more specific
