The formation of both the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) was a response to racism and discrimination. Both organizations wanted to end defamation towards them and their rights fighting negative stereotyping.
Focused on different issues, they have been allies in the war against racism and anti-Semitism.
