making a the subject by dividing through by 12m

[tex] \frac{12am}{12m} = \frac{4}{12m} [/tex]

cancel out leaving

[tex]a = \frac{1}{3m} [/tex]

as the final solution for a.

because

[tex] \frac{4}{12} = \frac{1}{3} [/tex]
