A car accelerates at a rate of 3.0 m/s^2. If it’s initial speed is 8.0 m/s, how many seconds will it take the car to reach a final speed of 25.0 m/s? Please show work

vf= 25 m/s
vi= 8 m/s
a= 3.0 m/s^2
t=?
You can substitute these values into the big five kinematic equations.

vf=vi+at
25= 8+3t
3t=17
t=5.67 seconds
