Answer:

An organism which cannot meet its needs within an ecosystem isn't adapted to that ecosystem. That organism is damaging that ecosystem.

Explanation:

While the organism's demands for ecosystem services are growing, it's actions are at the same time diminishing the capability that ecosystem to meet these demands.  Taking more than that ecosystem can produce and not giving nearly enough as it should.
