To find the slope, plug the two coordinate pairs into the formula
m = [tex] \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1} [/tex]. M will represent the slope.

M = [tex] \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1} [/tex]   Substitute in the x and y values
M = [tex] \frac{(-4) - 7}{(-6) - (-4)} [/tex]   Subtract
M = [tex] \frac{-11}{-2} [/tex]   Simplify
M = [tex] \frac{11}{2} [/tex]

The slope is [tex] \frac{11}{2} [/tex]
