Answer: [tex]x=6[/tex]

Subtract 4/3x from both sides

[tex]\frac{-2}{3}x+9-\frac{4}{3}x=\frac{4}{3}x=3-\frac{4}{3} x[/tex]

[tex]-2x+9=-3[/tex]

Subtract 9 from both sides

[tex]-2x+9-9=-3-9\\-2x=-12[/tex]

Divide both sides by -2

[tex]2x/2=-12/-2[/tex]

[tex]x=6[/tex]
