The holocaust was a genocide.
During the holocaust from 1933 up until 1945, you had a particular group of individuals that were targeted within Europe by Natzi Germany and Hitler.
These individuals were jewish people and it was a human rights violation and throughout Europe the Natzi's created concentration camps in order to eliminate jews and they wanted every jew to be eliminated. They turned these camps into extermination camps with gas chambers
