Answer: y= 7 & y=5

Step-by-step explanation:

y^2-12 get half of -12 which is -6 then sq it -6 X -6 = 36 add to both sides

y^2 -12+36= -35+36

(y-6)^2= 1

Sq rt both sides

y-6=1

Add 6 to both sides

Y= 7

Y-6=-1

Add 6

Y=5
