let the no of sweets be 7x, 3x, and 1x

Colin gets 7x

Sara gets 3x

gordon gets 1x

7x = 1x+54  (given)

7x - 1x= 54

6x= 54

x=9

hece sara gets 3x= 3*9

                               =27
