The knowledge of first aid and emergency practices is important for health science professionals because if there was an emergency and they needed to make a tourniquet or a stilt it would be very important that the victim doesn't die due to loss of blood or any other emergency. CPR can save somebody's life and any other emergency practices can help save a life.
