well, we can begin by simplifying.

6/3 equals 2, so we make the left side 2.

2 = 22/x

x is being divided by 22, so to undo it, we multiply.

therefore it becomes:

2 times x = 22
2x = 22

we can divide by 2 on both sides.

we are left with


x = 22/2

22/2 is 11, so x = 11.
