The answer would be no.

Solid aluminium oxide cannot react with hydrogen gas to produce molten aluminium and water due to the fact that, on one hand, hydrogen as an element is not a strong enough reducing agent that can remove oxygen from the aluminium oxide.  On the other hand, aluminium is more reactive than hydrogen and hence, cannot be displaced by hydrogen in solution.
