Kelvin has 45 sweets. he gives 1/5 of them to omar. how many does kelvin have left?

So since Kelvin has given 1/5 of his sweets to omar, this means that he has 4/5 sweets left. So all we have to do is find:

45 * 4/5 to find the number of sweets Kelvin has left, which will give us 36.
