length = 3 + w (width)

perimeter: 66

2(3 + w + w) = 66

6 + 2w + 2w = 66

6 + 4w = 66

4w = 60

w = 15

length = 15 + 3 = 18

final answer:

length = 15 yards

width = 18 yards
