Yes it is necessary, but a couple or reasons why people may have an issue with it is because they don’t feel the need to celebrate someone who helped end racial segregation, or because they don’t think it’s really important.
Answer: I think that martin luther king day is indeed necessary because he started the movement for all black people to fight for the rights in a safe and civilized way. Many people have issues with it because they dont support black people and they dont believe black people should have the rights that they do.
