Can a right triangle ever have an obtuse angle?

No because a right triangle always has a right angle

think about it....a triangle has all 3 angles, when added, equal to 180 degrees....if one angle is a right angle (90 degrees). that would mean the other 2 angles have to add up to 90 degrees. An obtuse angle is more then 90 degrees. So ur answer is No....a right triangle can never have an obtuse angle.
