Why is it important that we remember an event like the Holocaust?

It is important because Holocaust was a big event in which millions of people, including Jews, homosexuals, disabled, gypsies, and many more, were murdered. They fought for their lives, when taken to the concentration camps and labored with little to no food. It is very important and it needs more recognition.
