By the process of absorption.

Explanation:

Molecules move away by absorption of light. This causes a molecule to rearrange its structure in such a way that atoms are lost and it becomes another chemical species. One biologically important photorearrangement reaction is the conversion of 7-dehydrocholesterol to vitamin D in the skin.
