Answer:

Let Jiri's age be as 'x'

Therefore, Pamela's would be 2x

Since the addition of both is 72, the equation formed would be..

2x+ x =72

3x =72

x= 72÷3

x = 24 years.

Therefore, Jiri's age is 24 and Pamela's is twice of Jiri ie 48 years.
