y = -1/2x - 10

ex : -10 is x, -5 is y, -1/2 is slope

y = mx + b, m is slope, solving for b (y-intercept)

-5 = -1/2(-10)+b
-5 = 5 + b

try to get b by itself, so minus the positive 5

-5-5 = b, so -10 = b

which leads to y = -1/2x - 10
