The number of more miles John ran is 7/5

  • Saturday = 9/10 mile
  • Sunday = 2/5 mile
  • Monday = 3/10 mile

Sunday + Monday = 2/5 + 3/10

= (2+3) / 10

= 5/10

= 1/2

Saturday - (Sunday + Monday)

= 9/10 - 1/2

= (9+5) / 10

= 14/10

= 7/5
