How do you graph distance and time for an object that moves at a constant speed?

Answer:

y = m x + b      is the equation for a straight line

s = v t       is in this format (b or distance = zero at start)

v = m is the slope  of the line and of course, t is the x-axis and s the y-axis

The area under the curve represents v / 2 * t which is the average speed multiplied by the time traveled
