The points J, K, L and M all lie on the same line segment

And

JK : KL : LM

2 : 2 : 3

And Given JM = 28

So, the total line segment can be divided to 2 + 2 + 3 = 7 segments

So, the unit rate = 28/7 = 4

So, JK = 2 * 4 = 8

And KL = 2 * 4 = 8

JL = JK + KL = 8 + 8 = 16
