considering the conditions of hard labor and little in return that the peasants were facing, their actions were justified. the lord didn't even allow many of them to hunt for food, and charged them all sorts of taxes. Yet, luther was a man of the people. it is hard to understand why luther sided with the lords on this one. hope i helped :)
