What might happen if you completely removed a predator from an ecosystem?

There might be an abundance of whatever that predator was feeding on, this could cause other animals to suffer, the ecosystem overtime would repair, but it would take a while.

Whatever the predator ate, there would be a large quantity of. This can cause many problems to the ecosystem and the other animals in general
