Philosophy is the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence. It is, generally speaking, the study of life and why things are the way they are. It seeks to explain various phenomena that are difficult to explain and may have different answers to each person. There have been different eras of philosophy, with it originally meaning any discipline of knowledge and ultimately now resulting in contemporary philosophy.
