Spotted-horse paintings at Pech Merle France is one of the famous cave paintings in Prehistoric Paleolithic era. Its composition was made from ground minerals (like ochre) mixed w/a binding agent (water or saliva) applied paint w/ rudimentary brushes or blew pigment through a hollow pipe and used animal fat lamps to light up the cave.
