The area would be 15 since you multiply the base times height then divide the answer by two to get your final answer.

Salutations!

Work out the area of a triangle of base 5cm and height 6cm

To work out the area of a triangle, you must know the formula.

[tex]h*b/2[/tex]

h - height (6cm)

b - base (5 cm)

Area = [tex]h*b/2[/tex]

[tex]6*5 = 30[/tex]

[tex]30/2 = 15[/tex]

The area of a triangle is
[tex]15cm^2[/tex]

Hope I helped (:

Have a great day!
