Hymn are known as the type of songs, mostly religious and precisely these are written for the purpose of admiration.
The two meters which are used to write the early Christian hymns are;
Versus popularis and the Iambic dimeter
These both meters are in Latin and in Greek. Iambic dimeter is the most popular meter.
