volume of a sphere : V = 4/3 * pi * r^3......and the radius (r) is half the diameter....so ur radius is (40/2) = 20
now lets sub
V = 4/3 * 3.14 * 20^3
V = 4/3 * 3.14 * 8000
V = 32,000/3 * 3.14
V = 100480/3
V = 33493.3 cm^3 <===
