At the Doha Round of the WTO in late 2001, an agenda was established to phase out subsidies to agricultural producers. Doha Development Round is the latest trade-negotiation round of the World Trade Organization (WTO). The goal of Doha round is to obtain main reform of the global trading system thru the creation of lower trade boundaries and revised trade policies.
