Teaching efficacy can be defined as a teacher's beliefs and faith in his or her skills and abilities to effectively teach students and aid their learning. According to psychologists, teachers who have higher teaching efficacy are more likely to be great or "expert" teachers since their belief in their effective teaching abilities in turn make them more likely to perform behaviors of actions of teaching effectively.
