This is the formula for momentum. 

P stands for momentum.

m stands for mass.

v stands for velocity

The equation is the equation of momentum in physics. Where;
p is momentum in physics
m is mass
v is velocity
  The equation is basically
momentum=mass x velocity
  Momentum is a vector quantity, which means it has magnitude and direction. So in defining momentum, you can simply say momentum is the product of mass and velocity. Hope i helped. Have a nice day.
