C= 13 ( hypotenuse)
B= 5 (adjacent)
A= ? (opppsite)
The equation is c^2= a^2+b^2
But we need to find ?(a) so we do
c^2-b^2=a^2 and substitute the values
13^2-5^2=a^2
144=a^2
However we need a (?) alone so square root 144 and this is 12
