why did people begin to demand clothes that were created by machines?

1. It was more efficient. People felt like they were wasting their time on doing something a machine could do way quicker.
2. It looked better. Clothing knit or sewn by machines were often times neater nicer looking. 
3. It promoted industrialization. With the ability to have a machine do the work, people could focus on making other inventions and contributions.
