First, you want to divide 35 by 50 to get what percent of the original price is the jacket at now. This makes .7, or 70 percent of the original price. Since 50 dollars was the original price, that is 100 percent, minus the 70 percent from the 35 dollar sale is 30 percent, so the percent change is 30 percent
